VOLUNTEER

We believe that every student has a powerful imagination and in the right environment and with proper structure each one of them can make an impact. Many RISE RVA volunteers have experienced the inspiring influence climbing has had on their own lives as young adults. With that in mind, we believe that climbing has educational value in that it encourages independence while developing positive levels of trust with peers. We are committed to seeking out volunteers to engage our students so they can feel safe and supported to become self-motivated individuals eager to overcome their fears.
